OTTAWA, ONTARIO, CANADA, MAY 23, 2023 The Tim Hortons Ottawa Dragon Boat Festival returns June 22-25 with free all ages concerts from headliners Dear Rouge, Tim Baker and Bedouin Soundclash.

It was a packed house at Ottawa’s Bronson Centre that awaited Dear Rouge and guests Hotel Mira for the second day of their Spirit Tour on November 23. Named after Dear Rouge’s newest album, the tour debuted in a sold-out show in Saint Catherines, Ontario the night before and features stops in 14 Canadian venues before it wraps up in Vancouver on December 10.

The Calgary Stampede is getting ready to turn up the volume on Stampede 2021. Free with admission, the Stampede Summer Stage is the ultimate outdoor live music experience of the summer. From rock, to hip hop, to pop and EDM, this multi-genre lineup is set!

Friday night was more than alright at Lansdowne for the second evening of CityFolk Festival. The late summer, yes mid-September is technically still not fall, concert series has been steadily growing since its move to the Glebe’s Great Lawn and this edition seemed extraordinarily well attended.

Impeccable timing courtesy Mother Nature meant the “Severe Thunderstorm Warning” that took effect for the Calgary area rolled through and wrapped up just in time to let the music start up for the evening’s outdoor shows.

CityFolk festival organizers today announced the initial line-up for their 2019 program.

This past weekend was the 3rd edition of the Ottawa Ice Dragon Boat Festival, a winter spin on their extremely popular summer event. Similar to the summer occurrence, this festival raises money for various local charities while providing a fun experience for all.  In tandem with the competitions and charitable endeavour, both seasonal iterations of this festival have become widely popular for the free concert series the public can attend. Through the years, the stage has been headlined by some of the hottest acts in Canadian music. This year’s featured artists were electro-rock energized Dear Rouge and the reggae and ska sensation Bedouin Soundclash. Both are Juno Award winners for Breakthrough Group of the Year in 2016 and 2006, respectively.

The Ottawa Ice Dragon Boat Festival returns February 8^th to 9^th with free concerts from Bedouin Soundclash (8^th) and Dear Rouge (9^th) inside Dows Lake Pavilion. They will be headlining a fantastic lineup of free concerts, featuring some of Ottawa’s best talent including favourites Jacquie Neville (8^th) and Jeremy Fisher (9^th).

Dear Rouge rocked the house at the Bronson Centre on Friday, bringing their catchy riffs back to Ottawa.

Ottawa’s biggest concert promoters, Spectrasonic, had a big month in September, and brings in a super busy month of shows in October leading up to Halloween.
