There’s no denying that the summer of 2015 was an incredible one for live entertainment with stellar line-ups at veteran festivals and even the addition of a few new ones including Way Home, Bestival, Capital Country Fest @ Spencerville Stampede to name just a few. It’s August in Eastern Ontario, all of the major summer festivals have wrapped up and that can only mean one thing. Fair season is about to kick into high gear. One of the first of the season is this weekend’s Navan Fair. It may be one of the younger fairs in the region at 70 years young but that doesn’t mean they don’t know how to put on a party!
Powerhouse performances cap incredible weekend at Spencerville Stampede!
The sun had returned and the stands were packed for the third and final day of the rodeo by the time I arrived at the grounds for the closing day of the 4th annual Spencerville Stampede. Out of all three days of music we had assembled for the weekend Sunday’s lineup was my favourite as it was a fresh lineup for me.

The Country Music Association of Ontario (CMAO) is pleased to announce the much-anticipated list of nominees for its 3rd Annual CMAO Awards Show. This year’s star-studded event will once again be hosted by Jason McCoy of the Road Hammers, and will be held Monday, May 25, 2015, at the Flato Markham Theatre.
