“We’re The Time Jumpers. We like to play timeless music. Here’s some for ya right now…”
These were the words that commenced a night full of faithfully timeless western swing tunes and were spoken by the grammy award nominated band called, The Time Jumpers. Comprised of many masters of their craft, the band currently consists of Vince Gill on vocals, electric and acoustic guitars, “Ranger Doug” Green with vocals and acoustic rhythm guitar, Paul Franklin on steel guitar, Brad Albin playing the upright bass, Larry Franklin on fiddle, Andy Reiss playing the electric guitar, Kenny Sears and Joe Spivey both with vocals and fiddle, Jeff Taylor on accordion and piano and Billy Thomas on drums and vocals.

The Time Jumpers maintain a Monday night residency at Nashville hotspot 3rd And Lindsley. The guys on stage are true masters and fill the room every time they play. Vince Gill brings a lot of fandom on his own, with his laundry list of accomplishments during his career. Vince has recorded more than 20 studio albums, charted over 40 singles on the U.S. Billboard charts as Hot Country Songs, and has sold more than 26 million albums. He has been honoured by the Country Music Association with 18 CMA Awards, including two Entertainer of the Year awards and five Male Vocalist Awards. Gill also earned more Grammy awards than any other male country music artist with 20. In 2007 he was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame. So, yes he has earned the attention. However it was fairly discreet photos and chats and Vince was always welcoming and pleasant with anyone who approached him.

The Time Jumpers are a real pleasure to see and anyone who spends some time visiting Nashville should grab a ticket and go check them out. 3rd And Lindsley is such a great venue too. Small enough to feel nice and intimate but they have a big stage lighting and their in house sound guys are fantastic. It’s beautiful. Go check out some real, authentic country music right from the heart of Music City.
