Edmonton sure knows how to plan a party, What do you do when its -8 in northern Alberta? Well you Get Loud and Bring the Heat, and that’s just what Tim Hicks and his Tour did. The Nissan Titan Street Festival had something going on all day for people of all ages and part of that was the Cooper Equipment Entertainment Stage where Andrew Hyatt, Tebey and Tim Hicks Brought the Heat and gave the crown something to remember.
Andrew Hyatt started warming the fans up with his hit songs On Me, Habit and My Kind Of Crazy. His stage presence brought people together both singing and dancing to the song they knew and ones they may not have heard before.
Making jokes about the cold and how his $5 dollar gloves where the best thing they had bought they hung out after the set to meet the fans and sign merch. Being from Sudbury Ontario the cold is nothing new for Andrew.
Tebey also a Canadian has been a bit spoiled with weather living in Nashville but still knows what those Canadian Winters are all about. Thanking everyone for being out here in the cold to see him play he gave the crowd a show keeping them warm singing and dancing while playing Wake Me Up, Denim On Denim and Who’s Gonna Love You.
7:45pm and it’s time to GET LOUD as Tim Hicks and band hit the stage. Singing and dancing to hit after hit Tim interacted with the crowd while playing What a Song Should DO, Drunk Me, New Tattoo and even surprising the crowd bringing out Lindsay Ell to perform The Worst Kind.
Be sure to check out the rest of this tour with only a hand full of shows left.
