Once the lights dimmed, loud cheers erupted as Ziggy, Stephen, Damian, Julian, and Ky-Mani Marley casually walked onto the stage under blue lighting, accompanied by a deep bassline. They kicked off the night with a powerful rendition of “Natural Mystic,” followed by “Get Up, Stand Up” and “So Much Trouble in the World.” The chemistry among the five brothers was instantly evident as they took turns stepping to the front of the stage to sing.

Over the next two hours, The Marley brothers performed a passionate 25 song set to a diverse audience of longtime reggae fans and younger listeners drawn to their modern appeal. The atmosphere was relaxed yet electric, with much of the crowd on their feet, dancing throughout the night.  The Marleys left the stage but returned for a 2-song encore that included “Could You Be Loved” and “One Love.”

They did an excellent job of selecting a selection of Bob’s most impactful songs. The concert was more than just a performance; while it honored the music and message of their late father, the Marleys also showcased their own songs, demonstrating that reggae continues to evolve. It was a celebration of Bob Marley’s legacy, with each son contributing his unique style while staying true to reggae’s roots.
