The My Bad Imagination Pop-up Show Tour rallied The MOD Club and left quite the impression on Toronto,ON!
The Band Perry brought their My Bad Imagination Pop-up Tour through Toronto Sunday night to a sold out crowd at The MOD Club. The intimate one hour set gave the audience a chance to hear new material from the band and get in close (real close!) to an unforgettable performance.
The decision to have a pop-up show at The MOD Club gave The Band Perry and their audience full access to one another. Having the stage set in the middle of the small venue allowed the audience to get up close and personal with the band. This worked well with the bands high energetic performance, giving The Band Perry opportunities to interact with their fans on a personal level.
Expectations were high as this show set the tone for all the bands recent accomplishments, from image to studio. Their change in musical direction came out as a shock to many in the country world and this was their opportunity to show their fans that no matter what genre they decide to tackle, they’re in it for the fun and love of it all.
The Band Perry wasted no time diving into their new sound as they took the stage. They introduced the audience to a string of new material including “Comeback Kid”, “Stay in the Dark” and “Live Forever”. A few of these that will be on their upcoming album “My Bad Imagination”, that is set to be released later in the year. Along with new material that was shared, the band put their spin on recent influences in an all out mash-up that was full of energy, which had the entire venue moving along too.
During their set, The Band Perry threw in some of their most memorable hits like “Better Dig Two”, “DONE.” and “If I Die Young” to show the audience they haven’t forgotten where their roots are. Their audience interaction went on to prove how grateful they are for having fans that have stuck by them through everything they’ve been through.
The importance of the intimate show was clearly seen as the band took time to converse with the audience, take pictures/selfies, sing to them, talk to them, and even have a few lucky ladies dance up on stage with them.
It’s true what they say, if you enjoy what you do and it shows, it will reflect back into the world. And there was no doubt in anyone’s mind who attended the show that they weren’t having the time of their lives!
If you were skeptical before, their “My Bad Imagination” pop-up tour will convert you!
