The BVJ’s 25th Anniversary is sure to be an event to remember, they have previously announced a star-studded lineup including Jason Aldean, Keith Urban, Chris Young and Kacey Musgraves. Today, they are tremendously excited to announce the additions of legendary artist Willie Nelson, Little Big Town, Alberta’s own Gord Bamford, The Washboard Union, and the ever-popular Williams & Ree to our BVJ 2017 line-up of talent. #LongLiveCountry

So last Saturday night we had a chance to spend some time backstage with the talented Meghan Patrick.  Meghan was the opening slot in Oshawa (darn close to her hometown of Bowmanville) on Kip Moore’s Me & My Kind Tour.   

So, the dust has settled, the Boots hangover has likely subsided a bit.  So now we wanna know, Who do you wanna see @ Boots & Hearts 2017?  Last year we only got 4 of the artists out of the 20 we had put on our WISH LIST.   Hoping that this year we are a little more correct.  Here is who we have put together for #BH6

If you haven’t heard about these boys yet your head must be in the sand.  Washboard Union a trio out of Vancouver, BC were in Toronto a couple weeks back and we thought it would be great to get them to do a Mason Jar Session.  So we managed to track them down thanks to Mr. Caven and the fellas cranked out a couple songs for us.

We had a chance to chat with Sony Music Canada recording artist and 12x CCMA Winner Gord Bamford about his upcoming album Tin Roof.  Gord is also about to embark on a cross Canada tour with label mate Joe Nichols starting April 7th so we talked a little about that to.  Here is our conversation.

Cavendish Beach Fest 2016 announced a few more artists to the line up.

With the likes of Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney and The Band Perry already announced back in November today they announced a few more to the line up and when we say a few… We mean a bunch!

Wow… So CMT Canada just blew the doors off the summer.  With the likes of 2 of the LARGEST Names in Country set to take the Stage in Kitchener / Waterloo.  Eric Church and Zac Brown Headline the 2nd EVER CMT Music Fest.  Here is the line Up….

It was all Dallas Smith at the 38th annual BCCMA Awards held last night at the Hard Rock Casino in Coquitlam, B.C.. Dallas took home the award for all but one of the categories he was nominated for, and he wasn’t even present to accept them as he was celebrating Ottawa’s New Country 94’s first birthday in Ottawa.

One of the most anticipated country western events in Canada is the Calgary Stampede.  We were lucky enough to be there for Stampede 101 in 2013.  Although you will find music from every genre at the Stampede Nashville North is one of the hottest parties in town and today the 2015 Nashville North Lineup was announced!
