This past Thursday night, the Diamond Mine Agency packed the Bourbon Room on Dalhousie Street in downtown Ottawa for a hip-hop show with more flare than the “Nature Boy”, and our very own Leigh Bursey and Dave Di Ubaldo were there to catch all of the action. Being that Project Mantra opened up the show, Leigh asked for Dave’s help in delivering the review to bring some balance to the coverage.
Def Leppard Announce North American Tour, no Ontario dates!
Fresh off winning their fan voted Classic Rock Magazine Album of the Year award, Def Leppard announce they will return to the road this spring for a three month run across North America. The Live Nation promoted outing will storm through cities across parts of the U.S. and Canada. This new leg of dates follows the group’s massive 70+ city 2016 tour and is set to kick off on April 8th in Manchester, NH and wrap on June 25th in Indianapolis, IN. Arkells announce 2017 North American tour dates with English folk troubadour Frank Turner and The Sleeping Souls. The band, who are currently finishing up dates with alternative rock band KONGOS, will join Turner this fall for a handful of East Coast dates before Turner takes over the support roll for Arkells’ two SOLD OUT headlining shows at Massey Hall in Toronto.

One of the comments that Dolly made during the chat was how this album really was really stripped down and as the title states Pure & Simple. Eric Church returning to Canada with his Holdin’ My Own Tour
Eric Church announced the dates on his 2017 tour this morning! His North American 60+ city run, the aptly titled Holdin’ My Own Tour, will officially launch on Jan. 13, 2017 at Lincoln, Nebraska’s Pinnacle Bank Arena and will conclude with two nights at Nashville, Tennessee’s Bridgestone Arena in May. For the first time ever, there will be no support act on this tour. Eric and the ECB will play two full sets of music with an intermission in between.
