OTTAWA, ONTARIO, CANADA, MAY 23, 2023 The Tim Hortons Ottawa Dragon Boat Festival returns June 22-25 with free all ages concerts from headliners Dear Rouge, Tim Baker and Bedouin Soundclash.

Organizers of Ottawa’s CityFolk music festival today announced the lineup for a virtual festival they are staging in lieu of their annual outdoor event, due to the ongoing pandemic.

Saturday night, the third night of Lansdowne’s CityFolk Festival, brought a wide variety of acts sure to please lovers of all variations of folk music. Musicians and concert-goers young and old showed up to the festival, sharing an experience clearly capable of transcending generations.

CityFolk festival organizers today announced the initial line-up for their 2019 program.

Frontman for Hey Rosetta! Tim Baker made a tour stop at Bronson Centre in support of his Solo LP, Forever Overhead delivering a remarkable performance.

Saturday night a ‘chill crowd’ filled the theatre at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa for Bahamas with Tim Baker. The back to back shows drew a full house each night. The night started off with St John’s native, Tim Baker. Previously the front-man of Hey Rosetta!, Tim has begun touring on his own, writing and performing new content since the band played their final shows last Christmas. Tim’s sound and voice are known around the world, however he holds a special place on the East Coast. Many of the Hey Rosetta! songs that he wrote and performed with that band are very music considered anthems in the Maritime provinces.

The Writes of Spring tour brought Hawksley Workman, Amelia Curran, Donovan Woods and Tim Baker to Canada’s National Arts centre for their fourth stop, of a nine stop tour. It was a wonderfully laid back night full of innuendos, hockey talk and awkward giggles!
