HOT Mid Summer Festival Recap…
So it has been a red hot summer thus far in terms of Festivals we have covered since June 1st. Not just hot shows but the weather has been smokin’ for most of them. I though I might take a shot at a mid summer festival recap and just do a quick review on where we have been so far in this jam filled summer of 2016.

2016 Ottawa Bluesfest Lineup most mysterious ever!
It is officially the eve of the announcement of one of the most anticipated festival lineups in Ottawa, Ontario…heck maybe even Canada. The 2016 Ottawa Bluesfest Lineup will officially be announced tomorrow morning.
Cavendish adds more to 2016 Lineup
If you live in the Eastern part of Canada and LOVE Country Music this is always one heck of a party.
Cavendish Beach Fest 2016 announced a few more artists to the line up.
With the likes of Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney and The Band Perry already announced back in November today they announced a few more to the line up and when we say a few… We mean a bunch!

It seems more and more these days that country music is having a real identity crisis, at least that’s how it looks to someone who has really only been big into country for the last 20, or so, years.

So Cavendish released a couple of acts on their line up today as battle of Country Music Festivals in Canada heats up. With Gone Country 3 in London, Havelock Jamboree and Boots & Hearts already having made a splash with some BIG Names as well at Country Thunder entering the Canadian market with a show in Alberta. Canada is a hot bed for Country Music Festivals. But this party looks like its going to be one hell of a weekend out east on the beautiful island of PEI. For those that have never had the chance to visit this absolutely beautiful province we strongly suggest making a destination at some point in your life. No Luck needed to pack the fields in Lucknow
This past weekend we had a chance to spend 2 days in the small town of Lucknow, Ontario. For those of you not sure where this quaint little town is. Lucknow is located just over an hour North-West of Kitchener/ Waterloo. Before I get started we want to thank all the amazing volunteers who put this fantastic weekend together. With over 600+ volunteers pulling together to make this my personal favourite of the busy summer season. This was our 2nd year making the 1h 35min drive to take in some of Country’s biggest names.
