The second last night of RBC Bluesfest was the night that was hit hardest by mother nature over the course of the 2019 event. Thunderstorms threatened to derail the entire night, ended up cutting K’Naan’s set short but, once again, she ran out of steam with enough time left to squeeze in the remaining acts with some minor schedule juggling.

Montreal’s new Metro Metro hip hop festival unveils lineup
With so many great festivals that happen every summer in Montreal, why not start things off early this year, in May perhaps? Montreal’s newest festival Metro Metro is billed as an Urban Music Festival featuring a lineup full of current and past hip hop artists such as Cardi B and Snoop Dogg. The two-day festival will take place over the May 18-19 weekend.
