Ottawa had its flood gates ripped open, torn into pieces, rolled up and smashed down its throat Wednesday night as the kings of thrash metal Slayer came to town.
Live Nation Canada is proud to announce the first annual CHAOS AB, Alberta’s newest rock festival. Taking place at Kinsmen Park in Edmonton, AB on Friday, July 26 and Saturday, July 27, the inaugural CHAOS AB will feature headlining performances from Rob Zombie, Marilyn Manson, Disturbed, Slayer – for their last Alberta show ever!
Heavy MTL is back for another year of head swinging breakdowns, mass circle pits, and metal horns in the sky. Headlining the 2019 event will be Slayer (which has been known for quite some time) and Ghost, who are at the top of their game currently and will headline their only North American festival date this summer.
A holiday Monday and a sea of fans in black t-shirts made their way into Budweiser Gardens knowing they were in for one hell of a night as Slayer brought their final world tour to London’s Budweiser Gardens.
After making some of the most brutal, breathtakingly aggressive, all-hell’s-a-breaking-loose music ever created, being one of the four bands that defined an entire musical genre and being the band that other heavy acts are measured against and aspire to…after nearly 37 years, releasing 12 studio albums, multiple live recordings, compilations, live video and two box sets, playing nearly 3000 concerts in all corners of the world, receiving countless awards including five Grammy nominations and two Grammy awards, Gold records and other accolades…having its own exhibit in the Smithsonian Institute, gracing hundreds of magazine covers, experiencing the devastating loss of a founding brother, and even appearing on “The Tonight Show,” the age of Slayer, one of the greatest thrash/metal/punk bands of this or any age, is coming to an end.
