Day 1 of the RBC Bluesfest 2017 edition got off to a great start yesterday with beautiful weather, smiling volunteers, pristine grounds, and of course tons of fabulous live music.

Summer is here and that means it’s almost time for another edition of the Ottawa Bluesfest! While all the hype typically surrounds the headliners, there is loads of local talent performing as well. So if you’re going, head out early and discover some of the great local music that our city has to offer. I imagine that someday I will stop being amazed by the amount of singer/songwriter talent hidden in this city. That day has not come yet for me, although maybe it has something to do with me doing most of my swimming in the hard rock pool.
