Up until a few years ago Country Music and Quebec were two terms that you often didn’t hear together, that is not until organizers of the Festival Country De Lotbinière decided that country music had a place in Quebec as well.

Our good friends the River Town Saints kicked off 2017 on the road with Tim Hicks as part of his Shake These Walls tour. Tonight at their final stop on the tour in Sudbury, Ontario the boys made a special announcement for their fans in Ottawa.

What a way to start off the new year. Tim Hicks started his “Shake these Walls” 2017 tour started in BC & is currently in Ontario. Tim performed in Hamilton on Jan 19, Oshawa on Jan 20, London tonight and then on to Sudbury Ontario. We are very excited to have Tim back in Ontario along with two other local artists: River Town Saints & Jason Blaine! Hang in Ontario; you’re in for heck of a party. Thunder and Tim Hicks Shook the Walls in Kingston Saturday night
It was an unusually stormy late summer Saturday night in Kingston and mere moments before the annual CFB Kingston Garrison Family Fun Fest, featuring Abby Stewart and Tim Hicks, was about to kick off the entire venue was evacuated due to a severe thunderstorm. Lucky for us the CFB Kingston Base Gym was a short hundred meter dash in the driving rain away. A little under an hour later the rain stopped and the stage lights came on….it was showtime!
Tim Hicks – Shake These Walls Review
Tim Hicks has been collecting fans across the great white north over the last 15+ years playing dive bars to arenas. On September 9th Tim releases his 3rd full length album Shake These Walls. We had a chance to listen to the album and damn, this one is crankin’ it up another notch. I remember chatting with Tim at Boots and Hearts and him stating that he co-wrote every song on the album which today is a tough sell to labels as they try and usually sneak in a couple outside songs. It’s so cool to witness that next step for an artists like Hicks.
