Day two of the CityFolk Music Festival kicked off tonight, Thursday, September 14th, 2023, and to say the least, it was a crowd-pleasing evening from all of the performers. Thousands of people gathered this evening at Lansdowne Park in The Glebe in Downtown Ottawa to witness the beauty and simplicity of live music and to enjoy gathering amongst themselves for the second festival season after lockdown. Tonight’s line-up had no still bodies in the crowd and a bunch of die-hard fans leaving with no voice.

Return Of Kemptville Live Music Festival Big Success!
Kemptville Live Music Festival was absent from the musical landscape for the last two years due to pandemic restrictions, and they were missed very much. This volunteer run festival has become a must-see event in eastern Ontario. Over the years, they have brought us some of the biggest names in music, both Canadian and International.

Kemptville Live, Day 4. Jann Arden Leaves People Happy
Day 4 finally came, but it was different. I awoke Sunday morning and looked out the window…..rain. It had rained during the night but it was still coming down then. The schedule for Sunday was earlier than the other days so they could wrap up at 5 or 5:30. I packed up my belongings and got ready for the day, not knowing what to expect. I got to the site early, sound checks were just finishing up it was still coming down quite hard. I went onto the stage, the front and the back of the stage floor was wet. All that was dry was an area in the center of the floor. I didn’t know what or if I would be shooting.
