1000 Islands Regatta delivers a taste of summer to the 1000 Islands!
Canada Day weekend is often one of the busiest weekends of the year as we have teams covering events and festivals across Canada. We’re proudly based in the 1000 Islands region of Ontario so when an event comes around in our home territory we are sure to attend and help spread the word. This summer the annual 1000 Islands Regatta promised an all-star entertainment lineup with headliners Platinum Blonde, Jason Blaine and the Northern Pikes hitting the stage over the weekend with loud and fast hydro-plane racing skimming the water on the St. Lawrence River during the day.

Culture Club and Platinum Blonde show TD Place retro is still cool!
What an incredible start to fall it’s been for live music in Ottawa. Last week the TD Place Time Machine took us back to the 90s with an incredible dance party and a wicked Canadian rock reunion show with Our Lady Peace and I Mother Earth. Tuesday night it was a trip all the way back to the early 80s with Platinum Blonde and Culture Club.
TD Place rolling out the time machine starting later this week!
Remember the 90’s? How about the 80’s? Remember the amazing music we used to listen to on our Sony Walkmans? Well over the course of the next month, or so, TD Place in Ottawa is going to take you on a journey back to the good ol’ days of the 80’s and 90’s.
