A Festive and Eclectic Lineup for the Big Return of the FEQ
#CanadaPerforms at RBC Bluesfest Drive-In
This summer, a diverse range of emerging and established Canadian artists and bands—including Sam Roberts Band, Marie-Mai, Patrick Watson, and Tim Hicks—will perform live concerts at the Place des Festivals, Zibi site. People will be able to drive in and watch live performances from their vehicles, respecting distancing measures in place at that time.
June 18, 2020 – OTTAWA (Canada) – The National Arts Centre and RBC Bluesfest are coming together to present #CanadaPerforms at RBC Bluesfest Drive-In, a summer weekend series of live concerts, where people will drive, park, and watch from their individual dedicated space.

Sad but not unexpected news came this morning as organizers of the annual RBC Bluesfest event set to start July 9 in Ottawa announced that it has been cancelled for 2020 due to concerns surrounding COVID-19.
Billy Talent, Blink-182, Blue Rodeo, Boyz II Men, Dashboard Confessional, Jack Johnson, July Talk, King Crimson, Lil Tecca, Patrick Watson, Sharon Van Etten, The National all confirmed for 2021 with many more to come.

The much anticipated lineup for the 2020 edition of RBC Bluesfest arrived just after midnight this morning. Major additions include Alanis Morrisette, Blink-182, Billy Talent, Boyz II Men, Garbage, Blue Rodeo, Travis Tritt and more!
Patrick Watson Orchestrates a Moving Performance
Patrick Watson performed, for a packed crowd, along-side the NAC orchestra for their new SESSIONS series. We were lucky enough to be present for this highly anticipated show that took place in a sold out Southam Hall. The next stop for this talented band is back to their native Quebec, where they finish off their current tour.
