It was a chilly Monday evening in Ottawa and Canadian country music took over at Algonquin Commons theatre. The event was part of Algonquin College Students Association’s AC Day 1, the official orientation for students starting at the school in January.
Def Leppard coming to Canada with Tesla this summer!
Legendary British rock and roll icons Def Leppard have announced a Canadian summer tour that will kick off in Halifax on Friday, July 12 and include stops in Montreal, Ottawa, London and more before wrapping up in Calgary on July 31.

Stars Shine Bright in the Capital
Stepping off Elgin St. and into the National Arts Centre on a mild December eve, there was something in the air as Stars and opener My Brightest Diamond were set to perform in the striking Southam Hall. As you enter the cavernous amphitheater, a sense of wonder overtakes you when it’s true grandness comes into focus.With the sold out crowd settled into their seats, the powerful vocals and electro-opera sound of My Brightest Diamond started to fill the venue. Appropriately named Shara Nova, the voice and main performer of MBD, shone brightly with her stage presence and rhythmic energy.
Headstones are the Picture of Health in Ottawa
The Headstones tour came rolling through the town on Friday night for the highly anticipated reissue of their debut platinum album release ‘Picture of Health’. The Bronson Centre stop comes month and a half after the band started the tour stretching across Canada, including a single U.S date in Buffalo, NY.
Godsmack and Volbeat coming to Canada
This morning, the Grammy nominated Danish band Volbeat confirmed 17 new tour dates with Godsmack throughout the U.S. and Canada in April and May of 2019. The tour will kick off with a string of dates in the U.S. as special guests to Godsmack before the pair embarks on a cross-country co-headline tour of Canada.
