Friday evening, The Hollywood Vampires brought their show to Casino Rama in Orillia. When my editor messaged me some time ago and asked, “Do you want to shoot The Hollywood Vampires?”, I could hardly type my answer fast enough! After all, I have been a life-long fan of Alice Cooper’s and when you add in Joe Perry from Aerosmith and Johnny Depp, it only gets more interesting.

One of heavy metal’s most legendary acts will be hitting the road in 2018 in support of their new studio album, ‘Firepower.’ The ‘Judas Priest: Firepower 2018 Tour’ will kick off on March 13th in Pennsylvania, and wrap up on May 1st in Texas. The new album (which was produced by Andy Sneap and Tom Allom) is due in early 2018 and the tour will feature the line-up of singer Rob Halford, guitarists Glenn Tipton and Richie Faulkner, bassist Ian Hill, and drummer Scott Travis.

It was a Friday night at Casino Rama and Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley and the rest of the gang were in town and were about to give a sold out crowd a KISS they’d never forget! Our own Sue Hebert was there and has this photo review! .

Rock icons KISS are embarking on their third leg of The KISSWORLD 2017 tour, with the only Canadian show at the Casino Rama Resort in Orillia, Ontario on August 18, 2017.  The tour will mark the return of the “Creatures of the Night” costumes, first seen on the 6th annual KISS Kruise.

Friday night saw Terri Clark return to Casino Rama after a 1 year hiatus.   Terri had been playing the venue on a regular basis but didn’t manage to make it up to Orillia last year.  I would have to say the heart grows fonder or maybe its the crowd that does, when they don’t get to see you as often.  You could tell she was happy to be back in Ontario performing for a solid group of her Hat Brats (Fan Club Members).

A little bit of Texas came to Canada! The Eli Young Band took a right turn into southern Ontario for a couple of shows this week. So glad they did.
