But Baroness is more than just a metal band as they are known for their experimentation as well as their incredibly beautiful album art created by frontman and founding member John Baizley. Their merch table, with all of the albums on display, is an experience in itself!

Last Friday night at the Covelli Centre in Youngstown, Ohio was THE place to be for all heavy metal fans, old and young, looking for loud, top notch entertainment.
As Judas Priest’s symbol, glowing in red lights, was lowered from the ceiling, with Black Sabbath’s War Pigs blasting away, the audience could feel a big show was commencing.
Rob Halford positioned his back to the crowd – facing drummer Scott Travis – showing the same symbol on his studded, fringed, leather jacket. So badass and cool.

The tour, originally slated for 2020, was cancelled along with the rest of the live music industry in 2020 due to the pandemic. Many fans had the dazed look of disbelief that they were, in fact, at a large scale concert.

Blacktop Mojo from Palestine, Texas are on the rise and are touring relentlessly in support of their self-titled 4th album which dropped today. The crowd at the Woodlands Tavern show in Columbus Ohio on Wednesday was treated to some of these new tracks, opener “Wicked Woman” and later, “Tail Lights.” (videos out now)
Jasmine Cain Live In Ohio: Bike Night Rock Show
Award-Winning Jasmine Cain, a Sturgis SD native, now living in Nashville, has been entertaining rock fans for many years by touring tirelessly. (According to her website, she did 170 shows in 2019.) So when the Pandemic hit as she was releasing her 7th album Seven, Jasmine didn’t take a wait and see approach. She immediately went out and purchased equipment to allow for streaming of content and promotion of the album until she would be able to tour again.
Seven went on to win the Josie Award for Album of the Year. Jasmine also took home the Vocalist of the Year Award for 2020. She rose to the occasion like a true professional despite last year’s massive shutdown of the live music industry as a whole.
