When four teenagers from Cornwall decided to start a rock band in the late eighties, they never imagined the success their band, the Barstool Prophets, would gain in North America just a few years later.

The National Arts Centre is a really spectacular venue for a concert of any size and magnitude. Even more so when the musical artist on the stage is pouring their heart out and the audience is electric. That was just the case this past Friday night, as a capacity crowd of passionate Canadian music lovers arose from their seats and ignored the sitting room guidelines to celebrate the ever-evolving indie dream-rock sounds of Mother Mother.

GUNS N’ ROSES NOT IN THIS LIFETIME TOUR SHOWS NO SIGNS OF STOPPING AS IT STEAMROLLS INTO 2017 WITH OVER 30 MASSIVE STADIUM DATES LINED UP ACROSS EUROPE AND NORTH AMERICA

The world’s largest tribute show to rock icons, Pink Floyd, rolled it’s way into London Ontario to a near capacity crowd at Budweiser Gardens RBC Theater. I was intrigued to see why a tribute show would be playing such a large venue. Let me tell you, I can totally understand, now, after seeing this show.

It’s that time of year again, first everyone is excited about the forthcoming announcement of the Ottawa Bluesfest lineup and then for the next 5 months won’t stop complaining about the lack of “blues” in the lineup.
David Hasselhoff is not known for his music, well not in North America anyway (he’s major pop star in Europe where he’s sold out concerts). Everyone’s favourite Knight Rider star is back with another music video, this time for the upcoming movie “Kung Fury“
