Well here we are, end of another year. 2021, the year started with a glimmer of hope and as the year went on the light at the end of this long COVID tunnel grew brighter and brighter…but it turns out the light was just an oncoming train called Omicron that would set us back even further than ever before. So we’re ending the year right back where we started the year…more or less locked down.

Harmoniafest returns for second annual all-female music festival
Canadian country artist Nicole Rayy is excited to announce that HarmoniaFest, the first ever all female Canadian country festival, will be returning for its second annual event on Saturday, September 11. This year HarmoniaFest teams up with Brooks Farms to bring you another talented female lineup including, Mackenzie Leigh Meyer, Jessie T, Jess and Tay, Jessica Sole, Paige Rutledge, Maddie Corinne and Nicole Rayy.

And just like that 2020 is in the past and a new year is upon us. As every spends the day struggling with the resolutions they made last night let’s take a look back at the year that was. 2020 was a year that the entertainment industry went dark. Theatres, stadiums all sat empty and the super successful artists, who make millions of dollars in royalties in their sleep, were on every TV telling us that we’re in this together while yet to be established artists lost sleep over where they’d find money for rent or food now that they’re primary income source, gigs, had dried up.

Bringing a healthy dose of feminism into the country genre with her early 2020 powerhouse single “All Woman,” pop-country singer Nicole Rayy returns with her latest anthem, “Broken Boys,” set for release August 21. Following its digital release, the track will be available at Canadian country radio September 18.

TRACKSIDE MUSIC FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES HOMEGROWN SPOTLIGHT STAGE LINEUP
Earlier this week organizers of Trackside Music Festival, presented by Budweiser, announced the Homegrown Spotlight Stage lineup which features local country music artists and provides them with the opportunity to showcase their talent to the Trackside crowd. Previous artists to have played the Homegrown Spotlight Stage include Julia Haggarty and Runaway Angel who will both make their main stage debut at Trackside Music Festival this year!
