Edmonton has been waiting for the Stanley Cup to return to its proper home since 2006. Well, this may happen on Monday for Game 7. Still, adding to the excitement and energy of the thousands watching the game from Fan Park, Canadian rock band The Beaches, and DJ duo Loud Luxury performed for the eagerly awaiting fans. The Beaches brought their charm, energy, and enthusiasm to the stage. Loud Luxury had the entire Fan Park dancing and singing and their “Let’s Go Oilers!” chants never wavered. This was a day and (hockey game) to remember!

Game 4 of the Stanley Cup finals, and the stakes could not have been higher. However, the looming must-win game did not dampen the spirits of Oilers fans. On the contrary, it seemed to rally the crowd and create an electric energy in the Fan Park.

Ottawa – The Ottawa 2017 Bureau, the National Hockey League, Live Nation Canada and the Ottawa Senators are pleased to announce that the Stanley Cup® 125th Anniversary Tribute Concert will feature musical performances by Metric, The Sheepdogs and bilingual artists Bobby Bazini and Kevin Bazinet, who will showcase their talent in both French and English. Liam Maguire, NHL historian, author and radio personality will host the event.
