A typical night on The Danforth for many, but a night of otherworldly metal for others. Iconic Toronto landmark The Danforth Music Hall served as the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable night of crowd surfing and moshing as Jinjer performed their Toronto show on the closing leg of The North American 2024 Tour.

Co headliners Five Finger Death Punch and Breaking Benjamin along with supporting acts Nothing More and Bad Wolves performed at the Budweiser Stage in Toronto this week. It was a night that metalheads gathered to let out some steam and get their headbanging on. Yes me included!

Black Label Society along with Corrosion of Conformity and Eye Hate God performed at the Rebel nightclub recently. This event was rescheduled from February of this year, when Zakk Wylde became ill and wasn’t able to progress with his commitments of this tour. The long awaited show wasn’t without it’s complications though. The entire evening events, including the meet and greet where delayed due to issues at the border getting their equipment across the states line. In fact the trailers didn’t arrive until 5:30pm. The road crew certainly had their work cut out for themselves. But they worked their butt off to ensure this show wasn’t cancelled as well.

For years now, Ottawa has been missing a bar where the heavy metal lovers can get together and enjoy delicious food while listening to their favourite tunes, but the wait is finally over!

Berkeley California native thrash band Testament performed at the Phoenix Concert Theater in Toronto recently to support their latest album released called Brotherhood of the Snake. The venue was bursting at the seams with middle-aged thrashers. Sepultura and Prong rounded off the bill as supporting acts.
