Country Music set to Invade London, ONT
So next week London, Ontario turns into one of Ontario’s go to destinations for concert goer’s of all types.
Jones Entertainment Group has put together another amazing year of Rock The Park as well as the 2nd Year for the expanded Gone Country Music Festival. Now as most of you know I am a die-hard country music buff so this is one of the key festivals for me this summer and with the final lineup being confirmed just a couple of weeks ago due to Little Big Town having to pull out due to some medical issues within the band. Here is what Brad and his team have lined up for entertainment.
Gone Country London ONT – Adds….
So…
With the loss of Little Big Town to their line up it seems that Brad Jones and the crew at Jones Entertainment Group were going to have to go back to the well and figure out what they could get in place of such a high-profile band for the 2nd Annual Gone Country Music Festival being held in London, Ontario July 16 & 17th.
Little Big Town Have to Cancel 2 Ontario Dates…
So both Ottawa RBC Blues Fest and Gone Country have just been informed they lost a headlining act. Little Big Town has had to cancel both apperences due to Jimi’s vocal health. See TWEET below. (link here)
With heavy hearts we want to let you guys know that Jimi will have to undergo surgery next week to remove a polyp on his vocal cord. As a result, doctors have ordered him to rest his voice and completely recuperate before we continue touring. All shows through July 30th will be cancelled or rescheduled.
It breaks our hearts to let you guys down, but Jimi’s health is the most important thing and he is expected to make a full recovery with rest and treatment. We will keep everyone updated on Jimi’s progress. Thanks for your understanding and support. – K,K,J & P
Wonder who Gone Country will be able to wrangle up last minute? We have a few suggestions, Jake Owen, or maybe Brantley Gilbert? Just trying to help!
