Band pledges to continue cross-Canada tour and address controversy

With ten multi-platinum albums and sixteen Top 30 hits, Foreigner is marking their milestone 40th anniversary with more 40th Anniversary Tour stops in Ontario with special guests and Canadian legends Chilliwack. 

Off the heels of a completely sold out Canadian Tour, Juno-nominated alternative rock band, The Glorious Sons, announce their homecoming show at the Rogers K-Rock Centre February 24, 2018. The band sold out all 19 dates of their cross-country tour including four nights at The Phoenix Concert Theatre in Toronto. The Glorious Sons have been touring in support of their recently-released sophomore album Young Beauties And Fools which came out October 13 through Blackbox/Universal Music Canada, the country’s leading music company. The album features the anthemic single “Everything Is Alright” which is just claimed the number one spot at Alternative radio, affirming this band’s place in the alternative world.

Jim Cuddy will release his fourth solo album, Constellation, on January 26. More details and pre-order information will be released very soon, but earlier this week it was announced that the Jim Cuddy Band will embark on a 30-date cross-Canada tour in support of the new album in February 2018!

Chart-topping, multi-platinum, award-winning singer-songwriter Johnny Reid announced today that he will embark on the 2018 “Revival” National Tour. The extensive outing of 44 dates will kick off on February 26^th at the Mary Winspear Theatre in Sidney, BC and includes two-night stands in Sidney, Regina, SK, Edmonton, AB, Saskatoon, SK, Thunder Bay, ON, Toronto, ON and Moncton, NB. Platinum selling country star and 604 Records recording artist Dallas Smith is pleased to announce the 2017 “Side Effects Tour”, presented by Old Camp Whiskey. Kicking off in Halifax on October 12^th and making stops in 26 cities across the country before wrapping in Abbotsford on November 18^th, the national tour will see special guests Lauren Alaina, James Barker Band, Cold Creek County, Michael Ray and The Cadillac Three join Smith for select dates. The “Side Effects Tour” announcement comes on the heels of Smith’s fourth #1 single at Canadian country radio with “Sky Stays This Blue”, a first for a Canadian male country artist.

Canadian rockers One Bad Son took to Facebook this morning to announce that they’ll be hitting the road this fall for a Canadian tour in support of their new album Made in The Name of Rock N’ Roll, which comes out this October.

Catching a World Wrestling Entertainment live event is sort of unlike any other type of live event in the world. Between dramatic entrances, sometimes scary masks, blaring music, colourful costumes, and unbelievable athleticism right in front of your eyes, professional wrestling can sort of sweep you up in it’s very unique universal of branded entertainment. And when the WWE comes to town specifically, it’s above and beyond any other form of pro wrestling in terms of production value and energy. I was lucky enough to witness this firsthand on Monday night, when the WWE Summerslam Heatwave Tour invaded Kingston’s K-Rock Centre.
