Roger Hodgson, co-founder of Supertramp, is currently on tour worldwide celebrating Breakfast in America’s 40th Anniversary. This album, released on March 29th 1979, had phenomenal global success. It hit #1 in almost every country and stayed at the top of the charts for over a year. It was Supertramp’s biggest selling album with over 25 million copies sold worldwide, of which over 1 million copies were sold in Canada. Hodgson wrote, sang, and arranged most of the enduring rock standards that made Supertramp a worldwide phenomenon. His timeless classics such as “Give a Little Bit,” “The Logical Song,” “Dreamer,” “Take the Long Way Home,” “Breakfast in America,” “School,” “Fool’s Overture,” and “It’s Raining Again,” helped the band sell well over 60 million albums.

Warner Music Canada recording artist Blue Rodeo announced today additional tour dates in St. Catharines on Friday, February 7th at the Meridian Centre, Saturday, February 8 at Budweiser Gardens in London, Friday, February 21 at FirstOntario Concert Hall in Hamilton and
Saturday, April 4 at Leon’s Centre in Kingston. Fans will want to join Blue Rodeo for this very special evening of music. Tickets go on-sale Friday, November 29th at 10am via www.livenation.com.

The Arkells finished off their Rally Cry Tour in Kingston and made it a giant Rock ‘n’Roll party!

Last Wednesday, Dean Brody and Dallas Smith brought their Friends Don’t Let Friends Tour Alone Tour to Leon’s Centre in Kingston and it was another huge success!

Saturday September 14 over 2500 people payed for the privilege to enter Kingston Penitentiary and experience a huge event in Canadian music history.

Kingston’s music scene is alive and well and The Glorious Sons made that clear Saturday night as thousands packed into Richardson Stadium to see the band once again play their hometown.
