This years festival marked the 15th Anniversary of Rock the Park and what better way to celebrate 15 years than with a double dose of Rock! Kicking off the festival on Wednesday night was Bobnoxious, The Lazy’s, Machine Gun Kelly, Chevelle and Shinedown. Closing out the festival Saturday night with the second night of rock with London’s own Texas King, Pop Evil, Theory, Three Days Grace and Rise Against.

It’s not often that major tours, of any kind, stop in North Bay, being relatively close to Sudbury makes most tours bypass the Gateway city. That wasn’t the case for Dean Brody’s Beautiful Freakshow Tour and country fans in North Bay wasted no time showing Dean that they appreciated him choosing to visit their hometown!

Fourteen years ago, Jones Entertainment Group had a vision to create something London had never seen before, something special for London and surrounding area residents to feel at home at. They called this “Rock the Park”. Rock the Park was a brand new music festival in the heart of downtown London in Harris Park, with the beautiful Thames River running alongside.
Brad Paisley descends on Kingston and delivers a night to remember!
In a city that’s known as the home to some of Canada’s greatest entertainers, namely Gord Downie and the Tragically Hip, you have to put on a special show to impress the fans that fill the walls at the Rogers K-Rock Centre. It was a brisk evening last night on the shores of Lake Ontario and it was Brad Paisley who would take to the stage along with, Calgary native, Lindsay Ell and Chase Bryant.

So next week London, Ontario turns into one of Ontario’s go to destinations for concert goer’s of all types.
Jones Entertainment Group has put together another amazing year of Rock The Park as well as the 2nd Year for the expanded Gone Country Music Festival. Now as most of you know I am a die-hard country music buff so this is one of the key festivals for me this summer and with the final lineup being confirmed just a couple of weeks ago due to Little Big Town having to pull out due to some medical issues within the band.
