Cavendish Beach Music Festival Announces Additional Acts
The Cavendish Beach Music Festival presented by Bell is thrilled to announce Country superstar and 5-time GRAMMY Award nominee Hunter Hayes as the final headliner of Atlantic Canada’s largest multi-day festival running July 5-7, 2019. The CMA Award-winner will hit the stage on Friday, July 5 joining previously announced headliners Eric Church and Carrie Underwood.

While in Ottawa with Paul Brandt’s “Journey Tour,” Canadian brother band High Valley joined Timeout with the Twins for a chat about remaining true to their roots, their journey becoming one of the most recognizable Canadian country musical acts and a creepy doll named “Saruh” that eerily appears on the “Journey Tour” performers’ tour buses.

The Journey Tour’s convoy made it’s way to Ottawa
When Paul Brandt was in the early stages of planning his 2019 tour he had no idea how suitable the title, The Journey Tour, would be. After getting stuck on the infamous coquihalla highway in BC enroute from Alberta to their first stop in Abbotsford the tour finally rolled into Ottawa on Saturday night.

The Journey is officially underway but not without a “minor” snag thanks to a notorious Coquihalla Highway snow storm. For the next month, Paul Brandt will be joined by Hunter Brothers, Jess Moskaluke, and High Valley on a cross country tour. We had the honor to be at the Abbotsford Centre in BC to catch the start of it all.

High Valley Bring Farmhouse Sessions Tour to Kingston!
Curtis and his older brother Brad Rempel are known collectively as High Valley. A third brother, Bryan, left the band in 2014 to dedicate all his time to his family. High Valley has carried on since and have recently released their 6th album, Farmhouse Sessions. Curtis and Brad, as a duo have come a long way from the Mennonite community of La Crete Alberta, just south of the Northwest Territories. Their musical success has brought High Valley to Nashville where they now live full time. Joining High Valley on this tour were Shawn Austin and the Hunter Brothers.
