The sun finally greeted us when we awoke on Sunday morning, after being absent much of the weekend. Although not completely gone the mud started to dry up enough that you could walk on it without losing your leg…it was a good day for a music festival.
Granger Smith closes Festival Country de Lotbinière
And that’s a wrap. After three incredible nights of live music we’re done for another year. After 2 years of waiting Granger Smith finally made it to Canada and he didn’t disappoint, all be it one of the smaller crowds of the weekend (likely due to the final night being a Sunday)
Several High notes on Day 2 of Festival Country de Lotbinière
After an explosive finish to day 1 many, myself included, wondered how, or if, day 2 would measure up. Day 2 would be filled with another round of 4 performances with Phil G. Smith, Five Roses, Brittany Kennel and, High Valley taking to the stage.

Catching up with Dallas Smith
Back in the spring we sat down with Dallas Smith shortly before he took the stage at Festival Country de Lotbinière. It was a gloomy day and rain had been falling much of the day but it did little to dampen the spirits of Dallas or the country fans eager for Smith’s debut performance in la belle province.
Chatting with the Reklaws
Last month we managed to catch up with our friends Jenna and Stuart Walker, aka The Reklaws at two events. Watch the interviews below.
