Day two of CBMF consisted of a heap of great music with a side of wind and pouring rain. Fans decked in rain ponchos braved the wet weather to take in artists on the main stage, while others took shelter under the tents of the Kitchen and Emerging Artists stages.

For the third year in a row, Coors Banquet is looking to name Canada’s top One Horse Town and award them with a legendary country music concert. Last year’s winner, Truro, Nova Scotia, was treated to the biggest concert the town has ever seen, featuring Dean Brody, Chad Brownlee, and the River Town Saints. Love it or hate it American Idol changed the way we watched TV. Starting with the low budget season that crowned superstar Kelly Clarkson to the final season that saw Trent Harmon take the final title over judge and fan favourite La’Porsha Rene millions of Americans, and Canadians tuned in week after week to cheer for their favourite. But what should’ve been the biggest season in 15 years was one that, for me anyway, seemed to struggle out of the gate to get started.
