It was a night of mixed emotions at Ottawa’s beloved Zaphod Beeblebrox on Saturday, as it was to be the last live show in the club’s history.
Ottawa Bluesfest – Week in Review
It’s hard to believe that the event that I’ve been anticipating all year is already halfway through. It feels like just yesterday that the Full Flex Express rolled into town kicking off what would be an incredible 11 days of live entertainment along the Ottawa River. New to our coverage this year is the addition of Sean Sisk, our new resident event photographer extraordinaire in the Ottawa region. Sean’s incredible pictures will appear throughout my reviews and allow me to focus on the music and our social media coverage instead of trying to get the perfect shot.
Burlington Sound of Music – Kick Off Concert
So the fine folks down at the Burlington Sound of Music Festival announced yesterday afternoon that they have decided to run a ticketed event that will help support the FREE Annual Event. So looks like Weezer, Our Lady Peace, Finger Eleven and Current Swell are set to take the stage on June 13. Here are the official details.

Tier 1: $199 Tier 2: $249 (as each Tier sells out prices will move the next Tier)
