So the boy’s are wrapping up the Ontario dates on the Three’s A Party Tour this week with one final stop in Thunder Bay on Friday night.  However, Oshawa was our last full coverage show and they did not disappoint.  The Oshawa show was minus the 4th partier from previous shows Jesse Labelle who had played a few of the Ontario dates wasn’t on this bill.  It was the big man James Otto who kicked things off and the foot was on the pedal for the entire 90 min set for all three artists.  Want to thank Scott Burns Images for clicking a few awesome frames for SCE.   Enjoy the images!

I get asked on a regular basis who I think is going to make the next big step and start getting some great opening gigs.   It’s really not that easy.  With the politics in the music business sometimes the one with all the talent doesn’t win out.  But I can tell you the 10 artists listed below are all SUPER talented and have a great shot at making that next big step or maybe have already started that journey in 2015.

Well, the Canadian Country Music Association Awards are over for another year. I had the privilege of being on the Green Carpet and had the chance to ask several artists one question. Here’s what I asked and their responses…..

Let me start by saying, it was a hot one Sunday night at the CNE! With temps hitting the 30’s you might expect the bands to take it easy. Not so! Cold Creek County came out and gave it their all getting the crowd “warmed” up for Dallas Smith.

As the summer winds down and those of you rest your heads from a busy couple weekend’s of country music festivals with Boots and Hearts and Havelock back.

We are mere weeks away from the first ever WAYHOME Music & Arts Festival and only a month out from Canada’s largetst coungry festival the 4th annual Boots and Hearts Music Festival.  This year they have something in common.  A NEW HOME! 

We had a chance to catch up with Wes Mack last week before he kicked off the Canadian leg of the Shania Twain Lets Rock This Country Tour.  The first night of the tour was June 6^th in Seattle Washington and then carries across Canada for 14 dates and Wes is along for the ride. Let’s just say he might be a little excited.

If your headed to Boots and Hearts this year you will be lucky enought to catch one of Country Music’s hottests acts Maddie & Tae make thier Canadian debut.    Here is a bit more info on thier upcoming album.
