We wrapped up our summer festival season this past weekend with Lucknow’s Music in the Fields takeover of Graceland in Lucknow Ontario. There is no denying that this home grown festival deserves some serious recognition for not only bringing stellar lineups year after year but also for their involvement in the beautiful community of Lucknow. The Lucknow Kinsmen are a non-profit community organization and all money raised by initiatives like Lucknow’s Music in the Fields goes right back into their community to support charities, hospitals, schools and other various community projects. Over the past 9 years the Lucknow Kinsmen have been able to donate over 1 million dollars back into their community. A small town festival with HUGE heart if you ask us!
Country music rocked the stage at Cider Fest
River Town Saints, Kira Isabella and Gord Bamford played to a packed crowd during Cider Fest at Puddicombe Estate on Friday June 23rd.
River Town Saints kicked the show off with a bang, as usual! I’ve had the pleasure of seeing these guys quite a bit in the last few weeks so when I noticed that their were a lot of people sitting in their seats at the beginning of their set I knew it wouldn’t be long before they were all on their feet. Sure enough not even half way through the first song people flooded to the front of the stage.
It was all Meghan Patrick at the 2017 Country Music Association of Ontario Awards

The night kicked off with a performance by The Abram’s who always leave every ounce of energy they have on the stage. These two men are so incredibly talented and if you haven’t had a chance to see them live yet you are missing out! The Abram’s also took home this years award for Roots Artist of the Year.
