So our friends over at Boots and hearts have put the line up together for Friday, Saturday and Sunday night.   Which night are you most excited for this year?

With another year of Juno’s in the history books the thought occurred to me last night that, well for one, Canadian Country Music is not very well represented at the awards that are supposed to represent the best of Canada and, for two, Canadian Country is all but absent on the international scene, or at least south of the border.

Another week has come and gone and I have had a few new songs thrown my way this week a couple you may find familiar and a couple you will likely have never heard before. 

It is officially the eve of the announcement of one of the most anticipated festival lineups in Ottawa, Ontario…heck maybe even Canada. The 2016 Ottawa Bluesfest Lineup will officially be announced tomorrow morning.

Wishing all of you a happy Valentine’s Day today.  Whether you are lovin’ or leavin’ (or cryin’) today we’ve got a playlist setup just for you. If you live in the Eastern part of Canada and LOVE Country Music this is always one heck of a party.

Cavendish Beach Fest 2016 announced a few more artists to the line up.

With the likes of Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney and The Band Perry already announced back in November today they announced a few more to the line up and when we say a few… We mean a bunch!

Ok so I think we can officially say that Ontario has quickly become a HOT BED for Country Music Festivals for 2016 in Canada.   Seriously its unreal… With nearly 13.8 Million people in Ontario and lets say you take 3% of that population that are ticket buying country music fans.  You are looking at just over 380,000 people are looking to buy tickets into an event this summer.   The big question is, which one or two are they going to be spending their hard earned cash on?

Four of the biggest names in country music will headline the 2016 Big Valley Jamboree which will be held on July 28 – 31 in Camrose, Alberta. The headliner’s were announced yesterday in a private email to BVJ Bandits (aka newsletter subscribers) and the official announcement was made this morning. Carrie Underwood, Blake Shelton, Dierks Bentley and Sam Hunt will headline the 24rd Annual event.

So Mr, Blake Shelton announced today (Oct 8th) that he will be heading back out on the road… This was just posted on his website…And there is a BUFFALO Date for all those of you in Southern Ontario!

Blake Shelton, the reigning 5 time CMA Male Vocalist of the Year and coach of NBC’s hit show The Voice, will hit the road in February for his Blake Shelton presented by Gildan tour. To see a full list of dates, click here.

On Saturday, October 17 at 10 AM CT, Blake’s March 4, 2016 Nashville, TN show will go on sale via Ticketmaster. A special Blake Shelton BS’er Fan Club pre-sale will start October 14 at 10 AM CT. In order to receive a link and code for this pre-sale, fans must be a member of Blake’s free online fan club. To sign up, visit www.BlakeShelton.com. Fans must be signed up no later than 11:59 PM CT on October 12 in order to receive this information.

Ticket prices for the tour range from $29.75 – 69.75. All other on sales will be announced soon.

For the first time, Blake will also be offering fans the chance to purchase exclusive VIP experiences on this tour. The Voice of Choice experience ($209 per person) will include one premium reserved ticket in the first 15 rows of the lower bowl or general admission pit plus an invitation to the exclusive pre-show party in the BS’ers Lounge where fans will be treated to a special pre-show acoustic performance and Q&A session with Blake.
