During the start of the pandemic, Josh Ramsay needed something to do while in isolation. He indulged himself by writing songs in as many different genres as possible. Josh explains, “my goal was to try and do as many genres as possible, so it feels kind of like a variety show. I see it as my ‘calling card’ – not just as a songwriter, but as a producer and arranger.”

As I walked into the Empire theatre in Belleville Ontario, I could immediately sense the high energy of the crowd. Belleville doesn’t get too many artists coming through and it being one of the stops on Tyler Shaw’s Wanted tour had everyone in the theatre filled with excitement.

Last Friday night was the last show of the Empire Rockfest Series for this year. The Glorious Sons, from Kingston, Ontario rolled in to perform their third year in a row. This marked the first time they have headlined, and it was a sold out show to boot!
