It seems like it was just yesterday that we were singing along to Autumn Hill’s “Blame”. Many were shocked when the news broke that Mike and Tareya were dropping Anchor and going their separate ways a few years ago.

#RTP2016 – Gone Country Edition…
Last Wednesday & Thursday London became the Country Music Mecha for 2 days. #RTP2016 – Gone Country brought some of Country musics biggest names such at Brad Paisley, Jake Owen, Dallas Smith & Tim Hicks to Harris Park in downtown London, Ontario.
On this day in 2011 Sound Check Entertainment was born!
It’s hard to believe that it’s really only been 5 years since I first put pen to paper (so to speak) to write the first ever post for Sound Check Entertainment. Back then it was called the Hoedown Blogger and the platform was under the banner of the Ottawa Citizen but had it not been for that day none of what followed would be possible.
#Country4FortMac
Sometimes the stars align and things just seem to be perfect and nothing can knock that feeling away. Well last Thursday night in Toronto all the country stars you could think of showed up and played one of the best venues in the city in support of the relief efforts for Fort McMurray. It was honestly one of the coolest and intimate experiences I have had in a long time. Along with raising just over $17,000 for the cause. #Country4FortMac
A very proud moment, and a disappointment #MondayMusings
Sometimes I just need to sit back and recall that just 6 summers ago I started Sound Check Entertainment, almost by accident. Jason Blaine and Cold Creek County Top 4th annual CMAO Awards held Monday
Monday Musings CMAO Awards Edition
It’s CMAO Monday so I thought it would be fun to dedicate this week’s edition of Monday Musings to discuss my picks for the third annual event. I should mention that I personally am not a member of the Country Music Association of Ontario, yet, so my picks have not influenced the outcome of tonight’s awards.
