You know winter is drawing to a close when the big concert announcements start to come in. 2020 had it’s share of drive-in shows with star studded line-ups and it looks like 2021 is going to bring us much of the same, at least for the first part of the summer. The first big drive-in festival announced it’s lineup this morning featuring headliners David Boyd Janes, Kansas Stone and Jason McCoy.

After the successful release of her single Love Gone Right, Alessia Cohle has been putting her own stamp on country music. She recently released Wild Eyed Wanderer, the follow-up EP to her FACTOR funded, full-length album, Talk To Me. She has opened up for Brett Kissel, River Town Saints, The Washboard Union, and George Canyon; as well as performed on festival stages such as Lucknow’s Music In The Fields, Havelock Country Jamboree, Manitoulin Country Fest, and Toronto Cider Fest.

Last month the CMAO launched a contest in conjunction with Brett Kissel and Invictus Entertainment that would give a number of lucky Ontario musicians the opportunity to open for Brett on his upcoming ‘Ice, Snow and 30 Below Tour’.
