Seems that this one is catching on.. Lots of requests to add some of our readers stuff so next week I will put together a list of some of the suggestions I have been getting. But with the big announcement this week with Lucknow Music in the Fields I thought I would pick my top songs from each of the artists on the lineup. So here they are:

Paul Brandt and Dean Brody bring the country to Ottawa
2015 been quite a year for Country Music in Ottawa with monster shows from some of country’s biggest hit makers like Luke Bryan, Brantley Gilbert, Keith Urban and Kenny Chesney to name just a few, not to mention some world class performances by some of Canada’s top country stars like Brett Kissel, Tim Hicks and more.
On Monday night two Canadian country music gentleman, Paul Brandt and Dean Brody, brought a true country music performance as their Road Trip Tour rolled into the Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa.

The Road Trip tour rolls into Ontario tomorrow night for their first of 7 dates. With pit stops in Thunder Bay (10th), Sudbury (13th), London (15th) Hamilton (16th), Oshawa (17th), Kingston (18th) & Ottawa (19th) there is plenty opportunity to catch some amazing music this month.

What Do The CCMA’s Mean To You?

Paul Brandt – I’m an Open Road Official Music Video ft. Jess Moskaluke
The Road Trip Tour starts in just over a week and fittingly Paul Brandt has released the official music video for his latest single “I’m an Open Road” which features 2015 (and 2014) CCMA Female Artist of the Year Jess Moskaluke. Jess will join Dean Brody and Paul Brandt for a few stops on the Road Trip Tour starting later this month.
Best of Canadian Country Music Celebrated in Halifax
The Maritimes went country over the last few days as the best of the best of Canadian country music invaded Halifax. The party started early in the week with numerous showcase events put on by various labels and agencies to help showcase their stars and rising stars and it all was capped off with the Canadian Country Music Association Awards, the final of which was held last night at the Scotiabank Centre and aired on CBC Television.
