Start.ca Rocks the Park has announced another night to their much anticipated festival! They have teamed up with London’s Pure Country 93 to present Sunday, July 17th, 2022 featuring one of country’s favourites, Dierks Bentley. Alongside Dierks Bentley will be Ashley McBryde, The Reklaws and Breland.

“We know how much our fans love country music, so we couldn’t pass up bringing Dierks to Rock the Park, especially with his original show in London being cancelled earlier this past year due to the pandemic. It’s been a long few years for everyone, so we’re going to give our country fans a night to remember and help them forget about the past two years..”

Ashley McBryde – Ashley McBryde cut her teeth playing country songs in rural biker bars – and it shows. Her 2018 major label debut Girl Going Nowhere (Warner Music Nashville) charmed the New York TimesNPRRolling StonePasteThe Washington Post, and more, all en route to landing a GRAMMY nomination for Best Country Album. McBryde closed out 2019 with ACM New Female Artist, CMT Breakout Artist of the Year, a New Artist of the Year win at the 53rd Annual CMA Awards and two nominations for the 2020 GRAMMYs for Best Country Song and Best Country Solo Performance for “Girl Goin’ Nowhere.” Her follow-up Never Will, released April 3, was tagged by Rolling Stone as one of the most anticipated of the year alongside NPR, who also ranked her Top 10 RIAA Platinum-Certified single “One Night Standards” as one of the best songs of 2019. Produced once again by Jay Joyce, Never Will reveals the witty, confessional, detail-driven songwriting addressing a wide spectrum of blue-collar Southern women’s experience introduced on Girl Going Nowhere is still here, but perhaps even sharper, earning McBryde a 2021 GRAMMY nomination for Best Country Album, making Never Will the only album nominated for Country Album of the Year by the ACMs, CMAs and the Recording Academy in the same award season. The music itself is stadium-ready rock-and-roll with a bluegrass wink or two and country music’s storytelling heart––and McBryde, no longer new, is the music’s ordained and highly capable standard bearer. McBryde’s This Town Talks Tour is currently underway with  stops across the U.S. before wrapping in April 2022. The Reklaws –  The Reklaws are a one-of-a-kind duo made up of siblings Jenna and Stuart Walker, proud to bring the party to every stage they stand on. The Reklaws found breakout success with their debut single “Long Live the Night,” the most-streamed domestic song of all Canadian country artists and theme song for the CFL Thursday Night Football national broadcast in 2018/2019.2021 was a record-breaking year for the duo. Their viral TikTok hit “What the Truck” recently earned GOLD-certification, making it the fastest-ever Canadian country song to go GOLD in the streaming era. Last year also saw the pair garner a JUNO Award nomination and six 2021 CCMA Awards nominations, making them the most nominated artists for the 2021 CCMA Awards, taking home wins for Group or Duo of the Year and Top Selling Canadian Single (“Can’t Help Myself” with Dean Brody). The Reklaws hold 3 JUNO nominations,4 CCMA Awards, 2 #1s at Canadian Radio, 7 GOLD and 5 PLATINUM singles and a GOLD-certified debut album (Freshman Year). With 230M+ Global Streams, 4 of the top 20 streamed singles by a Canadian country artist since 2019 (more than any other artist) and the most domestically streamed debut album in Canadian country history, it’s clear that The Reklaws are poised to be country’s next superstars.

BRELAND – With the arrival of his instantly iconic, PLATINUM-certified debut single “My Truck,” singer/songwriter/producer BRELAND emerged as a bold new force on today’s music landscape. Originally from New Jersey, BRELAND moved to Atlanta after graduating from Georgetown University, kicking off his songwriting career by scoring cuts with artists like YK Osiris and Ann Marie. Soon after releasing “My Truck” in late 2019, he saw the wildly catchy hybrid of Hip-Hop and Country hit #1 on Spotify’s Global Viral 50, with a remix featuring Country-hitmaker Sam Hunt landing on best-of-the-year lists from leading outlets like NPR and The New York Times. The song’s breakout success also paved the way for his signing to Bad Realm Records/Atlantic Records, and led to collaborations with heavy-hitters from the Country, Pop, and Hip-Hop worlds (including Gary LeVox of Rascal Flatts, Nelly, Blanco Brown, Lauren Alaina, Chase Rice, and Keith Urban). BRELAND’s early-2021 single “Cross Country” further reveals his passion for transcending boundaries and continues his mission of breaking down genre barriers and redefining the possibilities of Country music. Now at work on the follow-up to his 2020 self-titled debut EP, the Nashville-based artist made his national TV debut with “Cross Country” on The Kelly Clarkson Show, where she surprised him with a PLATINUM plaque for “My Truck”. He has also been praised by Rolling Stone as “1,000 percent the whole package,” featured on Billboard’s “Emerging Artists Spotlight,” and earned acclaim from major press outlets like Genius, Paper, and USA TODAY.
