Local Ottawa singer-songwriter Sandi Skye brings a touch of class to John St Pub

Talented, local Ottawa country singer/songwriter, Sandi Skye graced the stage at the John Street Pub in Arnprior last weekend and delivered a performance that will not soon be forgotten. The performance included a mix of her original songs and some classic gems from country hitmakers Johnny Cash to Shania Twain. The John St. Pub was the perfect setting and the crowd that was taking it all in.

As soon as the band took the stage I realized we were in for something special.  Sandi had a presence and once she started to perform she showed us what makes her so special.  As much as there was to take in visually, the show came down to the music and they delivered.  The vocals were strong and clear, and she can definitely perform live with ease.  Sandi makes it additionally personal could be seen chatting between sets with the audience members.  A nice touch.

The band kept “in the pocket” all night and displayed their talents as well. In particular, the lead guitar player stepped up, took over the mic and demonstrated his vocal talents for the audience. In my opinion, The John Street Pub is a jewel of the area. They provide a unique up close and personal setting for the audience and the band.  As I looked around I could see people clapping, dancing and singing along to the music and just taking it all in. A great place to meet up with friends, enjoy a drink and take in the show. If you enjoy live music as much as I do, then this is the place to keep an eye on for entertainment.
