New Album The Adventures Of Ben Blank Coming This October
Toronto, ON – Award-winning rock act Sam Roberts Band, recently released their compelling new single “Projection” via Known Accomplice / Cadence Music Group to radio and all streaming platforms.
“Projection” is a dynamic alternative rock tune that blends introspective lyrics with the distinctive Sam Roberts Band sound, capturing the essence of self-discovery and vulnerability. With its infectious chorus and captivating verses, the single becomes a canvas of personal reflection for all.
“When the lines between fact and fiction have become so blurred, how do we measure our truest selves? What can we rely on? Hold on to?,” said Sam Roberts. The new single “Projection” is seemingly a song with more questions than answers but, at its heart, there is a clear statement that love is still the one constant we can live by.”
In addition to the new single release, Sam Roberts Band are also excited to announce their 2024 North American tour, which will be the band’s first full tour since 2018, due to the pandemic-cancelled previous tour dates. The journey will kick off in their hometown Montréal, QC on February 2nd at Théâtre Beanfield, and includes stops across Canada and select US cities.
Fans who pre-ordered the new album will have first access to tickets on September 12th, followed by The SRB official Fan Club pre-sale. Public on sale for all shows will be Friday, September 15th at 10am local time.

The band recently announced their highly anticipated album, The Adventures Of Ben Blank, which is set to be released on October 20th. The album is a collection of 9 tracks and will include the band’s other recent singles, “Afterlife” and “Picture of Love,” which earned a SOCAN #! Award for hitting the #1 spot on the CBC Music Top 20 Chart and the track hit #11 on the Canadian Alternative Rock chart. Pre-order and pre-save the album here.
The Adventures of Ben Blank will be the band’s first new album since 2020’s All of Us. The album garnered critical praise and achieved notable recognition, including a JUNO nomination for Rock Album of the Year and being listed among the top 10 highest-rated albums of that year by Uncut Magazine.
Born in Montreal, Sam Roberts had been a violin player, surrounded by a vast range of musical influences, who eventually moved on to guitar and started a rock band with friends. The Inhuman Condition became the best-selling independent EP in Canadian history and included a re-recorded version of “Brother Down” and the chart topper “Don’t Walk Away Eileen”. In 2003 he released his first full-length album, We Were Born in a Flame. This year marks the 20-year anniversary for the Double-Platinum certified album, which was a huge hit in Canada and won JUNO Awards for Album of the Year, Rock Album of the Year, and Artist of the Year.
Roberts has since continued to release hit Platinum and Gold-certified albums, winning awards across the board and landing once of a lifetime performance opportunities such as at the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver.
