Sabaton & Kreator will co-headline what is sure to be a night of metal with epic proportions. Two bands that regularly play in front of 50,000 people at festivals in Europe, this evening of metal will be a treat at MTELUS in Montreal on March 2, 2018.
Sabaton takes the genre of power metal very seriously, with big chords and operatic choruses that will feel like you are in the front line of battle. The band creates songs based on events of both World Wars, as well as telling tales of the hero’s journey as they go off to battle. Dressing the part, the band will show up in partial military fatigues, and in the past have had other war memorabilia as props on stage. Hailing from Sweden, you can hear the influence of the Nordic metal scene in their songs. Before the tour began on February 8, the band put out a video asking fans what they wanted to hear during the set, alluding to a setlist that will be full of hits.
Kreator are a thrash metal band from Germany, who were one of the pioneers in the genre throughout Europe, celebrating their 26-year anniversary as a group. A stacked history of 14 studio albums, the band will have a lot to choose from for the show. The band is known for putting on heavy live shows that will have heads banging and moshing imminent.
