Rock Icons Deep Purple performed in several Florida cities recently, including Mahaffey Theater in St. Petersburg on Monday night before embarking on their World Tour 2023.

Opening with an extended version of “Highway Star,” the band continued through a string of fan favorites including “Smoke On The Water”, Space Truckin'”, “Perfect Strangers” and “Hush.” Just an amazing band that has been going strong since 1968 with no signs of slowing up whatsoever! Highly recommended.

Also on the bill providing support was The Marshall Tucker Band who got the crowd’s classic rock vibe going with plenty of their hits from the 70’s.
