Swedish melodic death metal band Amon Amarth roared into the Andrew J Brady Music Center in Cincinnati, Ohio to entertain the multitude of heathens excited to see their show Sunday night.
The elaborate Viking-themed stage was most impressive and the band members made good use of the entire set-up, including the stairs that circled the back of the drum riser.
Amon Amarth opened with “Guardians of Asgaard,” followed by “Raven’s Flight” and a few songs later “The Pursuit of Vikings.” As was expected, the heathens dropped to the floor and began to row furiously during “Put Your Back Into The Oar.” From the vantage point of the first upper deck, it was quite a sight to see!
“First Kill”, “Shield Wall” and “Raise Your Horns” closed out the night for the end of The Great Heathen Army Tour stop in Cincy.
The support acts for this show were Obituary, Carcass, and Cattle Decapitation.
Plenty of dates left for you heathens to roar and row at! See the list below.
