The Bunbury Music Festival was held in Cincinnati, Ohio at Sawyer Point Park & Yeatman’s Cove on the banks of the Ohio River. The crowds were treated to beautiful weather over the weekend with only a brief period of light rain on opening day. Over 50 acts performed on 4 stages with an eclectic mix of music ranging from pop and indie to hip hop and rock. The headliners were Fall Out Boy on Friday, Greta Van Fleet on Saturday and The 1975 on Sunday. It was also a great weekend to check out lesser-known touring bands and regional acts.
Many of the Bunbarians, as the festival attendees are called, were decked out in costumes, wearing floral wreathes, flowing robes, neon face/hair paint, and glitter, lots of glitter!
At the other end of the spectrum, it was perfectly acceptable to be wearing a band t-shirt, ballcap and jeans while drinking beer..and only beer.
It was not uncommon to have everyone partying together at any of the 4 stages all weekend!
That’s Bunbury Music Festival. One big party where all all welcome.
