Sponsored by Budweiser and Ottawa’s New Country 94, Night #2 of the 2018 Crazy Horse Parking Lot Party in Kanata with Aaron Pritchett will go down as another successful night.
Ottawa based band Silver Creek kicked off the evening and had the crowd singing and dancing and ready to party by the time Aaron Pritchett hit the stage with their style of rock n’ roll. As one of the “must see” bands in the Ottawa area this was certainly a treat for everyone. I really enjoyed watching as they seemed to be having the time of their life interacting with the crowd and playing with sheer faultlessness. A sumptuous performance I highly recommend you get out and see for yourself.
Aaron Pritchett hit the stage launching the crowd into a frenzy – in the good way. As Pritchett sang and danced across the stage, he could be seen reaching out towards the fans making this all the more intimate of an affair. Song after song he cemented himself as a confident extremely gifted vocalist and entertainer but on this night, he could have simply let the crowd take over the vocalist duties as they sang each song from start to finish along with him.
There’s something about a country show that really grabs my attention and keeps it there almost in admiration. I can say it might be the guitar playing, the deep growling bass or the drums that keep my top tapping, but it’s not just the music being played. It’s a combination of the way the crowd embraces the music and band completely and likewise. The whole atmosphere is something special and for me not something I’ve felt in quite a while. This new country music has really become something special and just watching everyone singing and dancing and just letting loose is just so good for the soul. Don’t be afraid – find out for yourself.
