Meghan Patrick—what can we say—what a way to open the Cavendish Beach Music Festival main stage!!!

Meghan is high energy and a huge talent. She used the catwalk to extend her reach into the crowd and the fans were loving it. She is extremely interactive with the fans and did an amazing job of pumping them up!  Meghan gave a performance that showed just how ready she is for stardom. I am confident we have not seen the last of Meghan Patrick at CBMF.

While the weather delayed the opening of the gates for a few hours, Meghan was quick to get the crowd in her back pocket and gave them an extremely high energy and memorable performance. Meghan performed some of her top hits such as “Country Music Made Me Do It” and “Grace & Grit”, but also treated the audience to some of her new songs as well.

The Road Hammers are one of the most memorable country bands in Canadian history (they are the 2017 CCMA group of the year after all). Their performance on the main stage was absolutely memorable. The band had an energy that was infectious, every on the crowd couldn’t help be on their feet and singing along to every song the band played.

By the time Chase Rice took the stage at 7:45 and the crowd was ready. There were thousands of people flocking the stage to get as close to Chase as possible. As soon as Chase and his band started their set, the place went nuts. The crowd made it clear, they were ready to party and a little bit of rain, certainly wouldn’t stop them.

Friday nights headliner is currently out on his first headlining, nationwide tour.  Brett Eldredge took the stage to what appeared to be, one of the largest crowds Cavendish Beach Music Festival has ever seen. The feeling in the venue was electrifying, fans young and old were on their feet screaming in anticipation of the headliner.  Everyone was singing along to every song Brett sang. Cavendish Beach was treated to a few songs off Brett Eldredge’s new self titled album. While this might be Brett’s first headlining tour, based on the performance he put on in Cavendish, it certainly won’t be his last.

Day 1 at Cavendish was a full day country music party, and day 2 is shaping up to be no different. With Terri Clerk, Dallas Smith, and headliner Chris Young, day 2 should be another day of good country music, and one heck of a party.
