Luke Combs and Eric Church at Rockin River

The Friday night line up at this year’s Rockin River Music Festival essentially had back-to-back headliners on the main stage.

Luke Combs was up first and the crowd got hit with some unexpected rain for some of the set … it stopped as quickly as it started but it hit a little heavy in the few minutes it was around right as the set was about to start.  That didn’t deter anyone though – other than a quick scramble with plastic bags for the camera crew and some of the lights all systems were go.

Eric Church closed out Friday night with an epic set of music and lights and capacity crowd in the Party Zone … seems everyone wanted to get as close as possible to The Chief during his performance in Merritt.  His set up literally consumed the stage and didn’t leave a lot of leg room for those before him for their gear but it definitely hit home with the wow-factor.
