Punk-metal L7 put on a great concert at The Newport Music Hall in Columbus, Ohio. It was a trip back in time 30 years ago when L7 released their most popular album Bricks Are Heavy. Party like it’s 1992? If you were at The Newport on Thursday night most definitely!

Playing the album in it’s entirety, Donita Sparks (lead vocals, guitars), Suzi Gardner (guitars, vocals), Jennifer Finch (bass, vocals), Demetra Plakas (drums, vocals) gave the all-ages crowd a show they won’t soon forget. After Bricks Are Heavy, the band launched into a second killer set featuring 11 more tunes including “Fuel My Fire”, “Stadium West”, “War With You” and Suffragette City.”

Support for the show in Columbus, Ohio was the punk rock outfit Radkey, a band featuring 3 brothers who were really well received by the audience. No doubt they added quite a few folks to their fanbase after their set!
